FRIDAY 27TH OCT 2017
BRISTOL // FRIDAY 27TH OCT 2017
The House of Gin Festival is returning to Bristol Paint Works on Friday 27th October with a brand new format in association with Sir Robin of Locksley Gin and East Imperial tonic and mixers.
The festival will have three Gin bars showcasing a wide range of Small Batch and Award Winning Gins. We will also have the Copperhead Gin and De Borgen Cocktail Bar.
There will be six or more producers showcasing Gins at the event. All Gin producers will give you a master class on how their Gin is distilled, offer tastings and an opportunity to purchase bottles at a discounted rate.
We will also have a large selection of tonics including East Imperial, Fentimans, 1724, Peter Spanton, Indi and one or two more!
Take your pick from the following Bars -
‘The Navy Strength Gin Bar’
All Gins on this bar are bottled at100 proof (57.15%) Navy Strength Gin evolved from the idea of ‘Proof Spirits’ and dates back to the 18th Century when British sailors would go to sea with rations of Rum / Gin. To ensure they weren’t given watered down Rum / Gin they would prove by dousing gunpowder in it, if it ignited the spirit was 100 proof if it didn’t it was watered down.
‘The House Gin Bar’
This Gin bar will contain Gin from the UK and Europe and from our wonderful producers attending the festival. These will mostly be classic London Dry Gins with very unique botanicals that bring this liquid to life.
‘The Genèver and American Gin Bar’
This bar will contain the original Genève’s from Holland and Gins from the U.S.A. The original Genèver was almost like bourbon hence De Borgens nickname " The Dutch bourbon" this can be mixed with Ginger Ale or even Cola.
‘Copperhead & De Borgen Cocktail Bar’
Copperhead Gin and De Borgen Genèver will be offering the very best Gin / Genèver cocktails, think Negroni and other classic Gin cocktails.
And we also cater for people that are new to Gin...
'Premium Spirit Bar'
If you can't find your perfect Gin, the Premium Spirit Bar has a range of Vodka, Rum, Tequila and Mezcal.
'Local Guest Brewer'
There will also be live entertainment and food available to purchase from the Bocka Bar, but more importantly plenty of Gin...
£7.00 ticket entry includes your complimentary ‘House of Gin’ Rocking Glass for you to keep and use at the event.
The session runs from 17:00 to 22.00
If you are as passionate about gin as we are, this event is not to be missed, only 300 tickets available.
